Sonja takes Quinton under her wing, but her advise to him makes Busi very uncomfortable. Pippa asks Peet to leave Elise alone for now, and Elise gets the shock of her life when she recognizes a patient.

Elise tries to open up to Sofia, but she doesn't give her a chance. Daleen is still very upset about Quinton, and Pippa thinks Irvin will benefit from Louisa's little project. Gustav gets the cold shoulder from one of the staff, and Irvin and Sofia discuss Elise. Jan needs to think on his feet when Rachel shows up unexpectedly, and Peet tries to find out why Elise is so upset.

Gideon and Julia are drifting even further apart as Gideon gets more wrapped up in Binneland. Busi and Faye are unhappy with Pippa's appointment, but for different reasons. Pippa reaches out to Malan and offers to help with the clinic. Gys and Vicky's relationship develops further when he introduces her to the leader of his study group.
