Synopsis

JUJUTSU KAISEN follows Yuji Itadori after an encounter with curses pulls him out of ordinary student life and into a violent hidden world. When he swallows one of Sukuna’s fingers to save others, he becomes the host of an overwhelmingly dangerous curse and is forced into a new existence shaped by combat, training, and surveillance. That shift gives the series its immediate momentum: Yuji is both a promising fighter and a risk to everyone around him, which means every battle carries consequences beyond a normal supernatural adventure.

The series builds its appeal through a mix of exorcist action, school structure, and character-driven conflict. Tokyo Jujutsu High provides the framework, but the real tension comes from how students and teachers respond to cursed power, sacrifice, and fear. Yuji’s partnership and friction with allies such as Megumi, Nobara, and Gojo help the show balance humor, intensity, and escalating threat. For viewers landing on this page, the core pitch is strong and simple: a dark fantasy anime about cursed energy, dangerous growth, and fights that matter emotionally as well as visually.
